本校の生徒2名が英検1級に合格しました！

“We’ve passed Eiken Grade 1!”

Many congratulations to two Saint Joseph students for passing Eiken Grade 1! Maho Hattori and Erina Onishi both succeeded in the very challenging speaking part of the test in early November, having already passed the first stage (listening, reading and writing) in October. Maho has been learning English since she was very young, but she said that she could still scarcely believe that she had passed when the result arrived. Erina, who has taken TOEFL several times, said that her experiences with that exam helped with her preparations for Eiken.

「英検１級に合格しました！」

セントヨゼフの生徒2名が英検１級に合格したことを大変嬉しく思います！

服部真宝さん、大西英里菜さんは10月に英検１級のリスニング、リーディング、ライティングに合格した後、11月初旬にはとても難しいスピーキングのパートに合格することができました。

真宝さんは幼少期から英語を勉強していますが、彼女は合格通知が来ても合格したことを信じられなかったと言っていました。英里菜さんは何回かTOEFLも受けており、TOEFLの試験での経験が今回の英検の試験の準備の手助けになったと話していました。

２人とも本当によく頑張りました。私達は本当に彼女たちを誇りに思います！
