16th Saint Joseph English Speech Contest for the Mayor’s Cup

【小学生の部】Elementary School Division

対象：小学校4年生から6年生の男女

　Open to: 4th – 6th Grade Elementary School Students (boys and girls)

内容：英語の短文の暗唱。

　Format: short story recitation

＜Elementary School Division＞ Online application form

【中学生の部】Junior High School Division

対象：中学校1年生から3年生の男女

　Open to: 1st – 3rd Grade School Students (boys and girls)

1. Choose and write a 2~3 minute speech based on one of these themes;
以下の題材から1つ選び、2～3分の自由英作文を書いてください。

(1)What we can learn from history
(2)My role model

2. Complete and submit the online application form by Wednesday 9 July, 2025.
オンライン申込フォームに必要事項を記入の上、申込してください。
締め切りは7月9日（水）です。

An automatic confirmation of your application will be sent by e-mail (you may need to check the Spam folder in your mailbox). If you do not receive the automatic reply, please contact the school at english@sjjg.ac.jp.
申込フォームを送っていただいた後、登録されたメールアドレス宛に確認のメールが送られます。自動返信メールが届いていない場合、お手数ですが、まず迷惑メールフォルダなどのご確認をお願いいたします。返信がなかった場合は、english@sjjg.ac.jpまでご連絡ください。

※Please be aware that we will accept a maximum of 3 applications from one school or organization.
中学校1 校・1団体あたりの応募者は3 名までに限ります。

※Please also note that we close the Junior High School Division to new entries when we receive 30 applications.
中学生の部の定員は30名となります。定員になり次第締め切りとさせていただきますのでご注意ください。

3. Submit a Word copy of your speech by e-mail by Friday 25 July, 2025.
スピーチの原稿データ（Word形式）を2025年7月25日（金）までにEメールでお送りください。

Write the speech title on the 1st line, school name on the 2nd line, your name on the 3rd line) of your speech.
原稿には、1行目にスピーチタイトル、2行目に学校名、3行目に応募者名を必ずお書きください。

4. After the application deadline, details of the contest on Sunday 31 August will be sent to the postal address provided on the application form.
応募締め切り後、コンテスト当日の詳細をフォームに記入された住所に郵送いたします。
