第8回ひろしまジュニア国際フォーラムの三重県代表者に本校2名が選出されました

この度、第8回　2023年度　ひろしまジュニア国際フォーラムの三重県代表（県内より2名選出）に高校3年生の小川さくらさんと高校2年生の脇田美雨さんが選ばれました。この大会は国内外の高校生等が国際平和について討議や交流を行い、平和のメッセージを世界に発信することを通じて、次世代の人材育成を行うことを目的とした広島県の取り組みです。事前学習を6月5日から始めて、8月15日～18日の広島で行なわれるフォーラムに参加します。このフォーラムは全行程が英語のみで行なわれます。平和記念資料館視察をはじめ、ディスカッションや講義、広島宣言の作成・発表などさまざまなタスクが予定されています。本校は、三重県代表を４年連続送り出しています。今年度も、本校生の活躍を期待します。

We were delighted to hear that two of our high school students, Ogawa Sakura (6th grade) and Wakida Miu (5th grade), have been chosen as Mie Prefecture’s representatives at the 8th Hiroshima Junior International Forum. In the forum, which is to be held in Hiroshima from August 15~18, high school students from Japan and overseas think about international peace, share ideas, deepen mutual understanding, and spread a message of peace around the world in order to bring about a world without nuclear weapons. We are very proud that Saint Joseph students have been selected to represent this prefecture in the Hiroshima Forum every year since 2020.
