14th Saint Joseph English Speech Contest for the Mayor’s Cup
【小学生の部】Elementary School Division
対象：小学校4年生から6年生の男女
Open to: 4th – 6th Grade Elementary School Students (boys and girls)
内容：英語の短文の暗唱。
Format: short story recitation
応募締切：2023年7月7日（金）
Complete the online application form by Friday 7 July, 2023.
オンライン申込フォームに記入してください。締め切りは7月7日（金）です。

3. Please be aware that we will accept a maximum of 5 applications from one school or organization (cram school, English conversation school, etc.)
応募は小学校・団体（塾・英会話教室など）あたりの応募者は5名までに限ります。
4. Please also note that will we close the Elementary School Division to new entries when we receive 60 applications.
小学生の部の定員は60名となります。定員になり次第締め切りとさせていただきますのでご注意ください。
5. An automatic confirmation of your application will be sent by e-mail (you may need to check the Spam folder in your mailbox). If you do not receive the automatic reply, please contact the school at english@sjjg.ac.jp.
申込フォームを送っていただいた後、登録されたメールアドレス宛に確認のメールが送られます。自動返信メールが届いていない場合、お手数ですが、まず迷惑メールフォルダなどのご確認をお願いいたします。返信がなかった場合、english@sjjg.ac.jpまでご連絡ください。
6. After the application deadline, we will send details about the day of the contest, Sunday 3 September, to the postal address provided on the application form.
応募締め切り後、コンテスト当日〔9月3日（日）〕の詳細はオンライン申込フォームに記入された住所に郵送いたします。

【中学生の部】Junior High School Division
1. Choose and write a 2~3 minute speech based on this theme;
以下の題材に基づく2〜3分の自由英作文を書きます。
・My hero
・My favorite place
2. Complete the online application form here and submit it by Friday 7 July, 2023.

3. Please be aware that we will accept a maximum of 3 applications from one school.
中学校1 校あたりの応募者は3 名までに限ります。
4. Please also note that we close the Junior High School Division to new entries when we receive 30 applications.
中学生の部の定員は30名となります。定員になり次第締め切りとさせていただきますのでご注意ください。

6. You must also submit a Word copy (speech title on the 1st line, school name on the 2nd line, your name on the 3rd line) of your speech by e-mail (english@sjjg.ac.jp), by Friday 21 July.
スピーチの原稿データ（Word形式）を7月21日（金）までにEメールで送ってください。原稿には、1行目にスピーチタイトル、2行目に学校名、3行目に応募者名を必ず書いてください。
